The New York Gothams is pleased to announce tryout dates for it’s 2019 Spring and Summer Seasons.
Tryouts are embedded into our 8 Week Winter Workout program (details below). Rosters will be announced Monday, January 28th. To register click here.Winter Workouts consists of Saturday workouts (9-12u players have the option for Tuesday instead of Saturday), Thursday Batting Practice, and Friday Pitchers/Catchers workouts. Three of the Saturdays and one of the Tuesdays will be assessment days for roster spots. All of the workouts will be held at Pier 40 in Manhattan, which is located at West Houston Street and the West Side Highway.The cost for Winter Workouts is $625. The New York Gothams is a non-profit organization and scholarships are available. Please reply to this email if you would like to apply for a scholarship.Saturday workouts: (13&14u: 12-2:30pm, 14-16u: 2:30-5:00pm, 9-12u: 5:00-6:30pm, 18u: 6:30-8pm)Saturdays will be a combination of conditioning and skills work. Three of the Saturdays will be uses as assessment days to rate the players skills and progress.Dec 1,15,22

Combination of conditioning and skills work. The last Tuesday (Jan 22) will be the assessment day for 9&10u. Assessments for 11&12u will only be on Saturdays.Dec 4,18Jan 8,15Jan 22 (assessment day for 9&10u)Thursday Batting Practice (9-12u: 6-7pm, 13&14u: 7-8pm, 15-18u: 8-9pm)Players will have the opportunity to hit in the cages 1:1 with the coaches. Players may also choose to stay during the other time slots to work out independently in the open space, hitting the tire, hitting off Tee, etc.Dec 6,13,20
Jan 3,10,17,24Friday Pitchers & Catchers (9-12u: 6-7:30pm, 13-18u: 7:30-9pm)
Pitchers and catchers will work with the coaches in small groups.Dec 7,14,21
