Strength + Conditioning at LIU’s downtown Brooklyn campus starts Saturday, January 20 at 9:30 a.m. and runs for five dates (Jan. 20, 27; Feb. 10, 17, 24). The cost is $120.
Fitness, good practice habits and a consistent training regimen are essential to any successful athletic pursuit. Using a series of exercises emphasizing good mechanics, our fitness classes, tailored for young athletes ages, will result in enhanced performance as well as fewer sports-related injuries.
Challenging exercises are engineered to change old fitness habits and provide a foundation for continued all-around fitness.
Drew Walsh (M.S., P.E.S., C.E.S.) of (F)unctional (A)thletic (S)ports (T)raining Development was a four-year starter for the LIU Brooklyn Division-I men’s baseball team and is the Blackbirds’ career leader in assists and top three all-time in at-bats, hits, and games played.
Drew now works with athletes 8 to 18 on all facets of conditioning including drills, speed and agility development.
