Dyker Heights Indoor Soccer – Boys and Girls Grades 1-8

By: Dyker Heights Athletic Association

We run a co-ed indoor soccer league for boys and girls ages 5 – 14 (up to Eighth Grade only).  This program was started back in 2001 with just 37 kids and 4 teams. Today our soccer program has expanded to 20 teams in four different divisions including children from 14 different schools. The games are played at the St. Bernadette gymnasium – Thursday – Sunday

The season starts with two weeks of instructions and drills. All teams are established within this training period. Again we have clinic soccer for boys and girls age 5. We have Pee Wee soccer division for boys and girls age 6-7 Grades 1-2. These groups work on basic drills throughout the season and plays 12-14  games and have playoffs.  From 3rd  grade to 8th grade we have our divisions of play. Our Rookie division is grades 3rd  and 4th . Our JV division is 5th and 6th  grade and our Varsity division is 7th and 8th grade.

There are open practices scheduled every Sat for different age groups to work on their skills.

The soccer program starts in Mid November and runs through March

This past season up to 160 kids participated in this program that is the maximum amount of kids that we can take .

We ask that if you are planning to play,  please register as this is only sport where we can only accept a certain number of kids due to gym usage for other sports.

Register at www.knightsaa.org . Send in registration form with your deposit $ 50.00 to hold your spot.
